Cagayan Valley

In 1581, Captian Juan Pablo Carreon, a native of viscaya province of Spain, with one hundred soldiers fully Equipped with arms and ammunition and other provisions came to Cagayan with their families by order of Don Gozalo Ronquillo de Peñalosa , the fourth Spanish Civil Spanish civil Governor to explore the Cagyan Valley and to convert the natives to Christianityas well as to establish ecclesiastical mission and towns throughout the valley.

The province of Cagayan is bounded by the mountain range Of Sierra Madre on the east extending up tothe beaches of the coastal towns, on the South is Isabela Province. On the west Cordillero Mountain and on the north by the Balitang Channel, Babuyanes and the China Sea.

SAN VICENTE, STA. ANA AND THE PALAUI ISLAND

The Lady of the Visitation was orginally called the Lady of the Rosary, perhaps because it was supposedly bought from Macao to the Philippines in 1604 by the devotees of the Rosary, the Dominican Friars.

THE OLDEST BELL IN SOUTHEAST ASIA

It is in Camalaniugan's San Jacinto de Polonia Parish.
